Visita do Professor Hendrik Vollmer (Warwick Business School)

Em Setembro de 2024, o ISCAP-IPP (CEOS.PP) e a NOVA SBE vão receber a visita de Hendrik Vollmer (Warwick Business School), para a realização de dois Research Seminars sobre o tema 'Exploring Accounting in Society':

Nota Biográfica:
Hendrik Vollmer joined Warwick Business School in 2020 from the University of Leicester, where he had worked since 2015 and for three years as Head of the Accounting Division at the School of Business. Prior to coming to the UK, Hendrik worked for sixteen years at Bielefeld University in Germany, where he edited Zeitschrift für Soziologie, one of the leading German-language peer-review journals in sociology, from 2008 to 2015. His research focuses on social studies of accounting, environmental accounting, ecological reconstitution and social change. Hendrik is an Associate Editor of European Accounting Review and the editor of Handbook of Accounting in Society, to be published later this May. Hendrik is also guest editing a Special Issue of the Social and Environmental Accountability Journal (SEAJ) on ‘Bringing planetary boundaries back to Earth: Rethinking accounting for ecological limits’. He serves on the editorial boards of Zeitschrift für Soziologie and of the Journal Accounting, Organizations and Society (AOS).
