Aims and Objectives
(EN) The project’s main objective is the broad study of Sectorisation Problems (PS) and the development of a decision support system that can facilitate the decision making process concerning sectorisation. Particular focus will be given to its application to transportation problems of an environmental nature, namely concerning the collection of municipal waste (RSU). However, due to the intended scope of the project, other applications will be approached.
(PT) O Projeto StoSS tem como principal objetivo o estudo alargado de Problemas de Setorização (PS) e o desenvolvimento de um sistema de apoio à decisão que permite apoiar tomadas de decisão relacionadas com setorização. Será dada particular ênfase à aplicação em problemas de transporte de cariz ambiental, nomeadamente, recolha de resíduos sólidos urbanos (RSU). No entanto, pela abrangência que se pretende com este projeto, outras aplicações serão abordadas.
